Membership is open to anyone interested in history and, in particular, in the history of Lighthorne and its residents. The annual membership is £5 and commences on January 1st each year. The AGM of the society takes place in March or April.
The society has an extensive archive of material which is available to our members. A full listing of the archive is on the Archive page.
Talks by speakers take place several times a year and these are usually free of charge to members.
The society is a group member of the Warwickshire Local History Society and members of the Lighthorne History Society can attend any of the lectures organised by the Warwickshire Local History Society free of charge. Visits are also organised, for which a charge is made. Click here for their current programme.
The Warwickshire History Society publishes its journal “Warwickshire History” twice a year and the current copy, as well as several years of back numbers, are available for members of the Lighthorne History Society to borrow. Please complete the contact form if you would like to browse through them.
